Consignment Policy

At Perch Home, we are excited to offer a curated selection of consignment items that align with our brand and aesthetic. To ensure a seamless experience for both our consignors and customers, we have established the following consignment policy:

Commission Rate

  • Perch Home retains 30% of the final sale price for all consigned items. The remaining 70% will be paid to the consignor upon sale of the item.

Item Requirements

To maintain the integrity of our inventory, all consigned items must be:

  • On Brand – Items should complement Perch Home’s existing selection and overall aesthetic.
  • In Excellent Condition – No stains, damage, or excessive wear. Items must be clean and well-maintained.
  • All items must be ready for sale – We are unable to clean, repair, or finish items, so please ensure they are in sellable condition upon submission.
  • Easily Displayed & Moved – Items should be appropriately sized for our space and practical for in-store merchandising.

Approval Process

  • All consignment submissions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis to ensure they align with our store’s needs.
  • Perch Home reserves the right to decline items that do not meet our criteria.
  • If accepted, consignors will be notified, and an agreement will be finalized.

Perch Home’s Responsibilities

As part of our commitment to a smooth and professional consignment experience, Perch Home will:

  • Display and merchandise your consignment item in-store to ensure it gets proper visibility.
  • Manage the sales process, including customer transactions and inquiries.
  • Pay all applicable state sales taxes on each sale, ensuring compliance with local regulations
  • A 1099 tax form will be sent to consignee who makes more than $600 in commission payments by Perch Home.

Payment & Terms

  • Consignors will be paid after the item sells via Venmo at the end of each month.
  • Items that do not sell within an agreed-upon timeframe may need to be picked up by the consignor or discounted at Perch Home’s discretion.
